Know before you go:

 

  • Wristbands are valid for 3 days of entry, as long as, they remain on your wrist - In June and July you can return the next day before 10AM only

  • All exhibits are included with your wristband!

  • Hand feed the butterflies with our complimentary nectar flower.

  • Butterflies love red! Dress in bright colors so the butterflies are more likely to land on you.

  • We HIGHLY recommend leaving strollers, bags, jackets etc in your car if you do not need them. Double strollers and wagons are not permitted in the aviary due to USDA regulations and safety.

  • Shoes are required for all adults and children at all times.

Admission Prices

Adult Wristband (ages 15 and up) - $27 + tax

Child Wristband (age 4-14) - $18 + tax

Children 3 and under receive free admission.

Discounts Accepted at Front Desk: Senior 55+, Military, AAA, Coupons -All valid off regular priced admission

Admissions wristbands are valid for 3 consecutive days from the day of purchase, but must remain on your wrist otherwise are invalid for return. No exceptions.

All exhibits are included in admissions prices.

Local Discount

*Applies to Stone and Taney County Residents only, not valid online.

*Current Driver’s License MUST be presented reflecting local address. Other forms of ‘proof’ of residency are not valid.

*Subject to availability (Not Valid in March, June and July)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I dress?

The aviary is warm and humid. We suggest you dress light and leave jackets, bags and any extra clothing or items in the car to reduce the risk of a butterfly escape and speed up the inspection process.

How many species are there?

The aviary is home to 40-60 different species of tropical butterflies imported from their native countries.

Is it handicapped accessible?

The building has ramp access to each exhibit. However, the Banyan tree maze and Mirror Maze are not handicap accessible to go through. We do not have an elevator at this time.

What is the best time to visit?

* Our peak hours are between 11am- 2pm, avoid these times to have a more peaceful experience.
